1:1 Personal Track
The flagship track of the TRB method
TRB's most comprehensive, precise and invested framework.
A process built entirely around one surfer — their level, their goals, the difficulties holding them back and the abilities they want to develop.
- 3 personal sessions a week
- 12 sessions + 6 Zoom a month
- Filming, analysis and personal follow-up
Not a lesson package. A whole process.
In the personal track you don't just show up for another lesson and start over each time. Every session connects to the one before it and to the goal we're progressing toward. We film, analyze, correct, practice and re-check, until the change becomes part of your surfing. This is TRB's flagship track, where all the components of the method come together into one system:
- Personal in-water training;
- Video filming and analysis;
- Practice in the sea, the wave pool and the skatepark;
- Personal Zoom lessons;
- A surfer profile in the app;
- A work plan that updates according to your progress.
The goal isn't just to surf more. The goal is to understand exactly what needs to change and build the path that leads there.
It all starts with your surfing profile
At the start of the process we build a clear picture of your surfing:
- What your current level is;
- Which abilities are already there;
- What's holding back your progress;
- Which habits and techniques need changing;
- And what the near and long-term goals of the process are.
Based on the profile we build a personal plan that defines what we work on, in which training environment and how we measure progress. There's no generic plan handed to everyone. The content, the order of sessions and the focus points change according to the surfer and their progress along the way.
Three sessions a week. A clear goal every session.
A pace of three sessions a week lets us keep continuity, do repetitions and connect learning to actual performance. Each week we can:
- Identify the point that needs work;
- Practice it in a focused way;
- Film and analyze the performance;
- Make corrections;
- And return to the water to turn the correction into a habit.
Instead of waiting a week or two between lessons and forgetting the focus points, the process stays in motion and lets you build ability consistently.
Three training environments. One plan.
Surfing is made up of reading the sea, timing, movement, technique and decision-making. So not everything is best practiced in the same environment.
In the sea
In real conditions you practice reading the sea, paddling, positioning, wave selection, timing, board control and performance.
In the wave pool
You get predictable conditions and the chance to do focused repetitions. You can try again and again, and the session is filmed.
In the skatepark
You break the movement down and work on weight transfer, generating speed, lines, turns and body mechanics, without waiting for the next wave.
The training environment is chosen according to the professional goal of each stage in the process.
Video filming and analysis
What we feel on the wave doesn't always match what actually happens.
Video lets you clearly see the timing, positioning, body movement, lines and performance. That way you can identify the details holding back progress and work on them precisely.
The footage isn't a souvenir from the session. It's a central working tool in the process.
We analyze, compare between sessions and track the change over time.
Support between sessions too
The work doesn't end the moment you leave the water.
The process includes personal Zoom meetings for video analysis, theory study, preparation for sessions and going deeper into topics that can't be fully explained while surfing.
The app stores your personal profile, focus points, tasks and progress, so every session we pick up exactly where we left off.
The work plan changes according to each surfer's level and goals.
Who is the process for?
The personal track suits surfers who want the highest level of guidance and to progress within a serious, consistent, focused framework. It's suited for:
- People starting from scratch who want to build the right foundation;
- Surfers who feel they're putting in effort but not progressing;
- Soft-board surfers who want to move to a hard board;
- Hard-board surfers who want to improve their abilities and performance;
- Anyone who wants to understand their surfing and not rely on trial and error alone;
- Anyone looking for commitment, structure and professional follow-up along the way.
What does the process include?
- 12 personal sessions a month;
- Three sessions a week;
- Work in the sea, the wave pool and the skatepark;
- Frequent video filming and analysis;
- Up to six personal Zoom meetings a month;
- A personal profile and tracking in the app;
- A work plan built and updated throughout the process;
- Tasks and focus points for work in and out of the water;
- Direct personal guidance all the way through.
Length of the process
You can join for a process of one to three months.
The length is set according to your starting point, your goals and the scope of change we want to create.
A month lets you create focus and meaningful change. A longer process lets you consolidate abilities, move to more advanced stages and turn the change into a permanent habit in your surfing.
It starts with a fit check
Before we begin, we hold a personal conversation where we'll understand your level, what you want to achieve and what's holding you back today.
If there's a fit for the process, we'll define the starting point and build the path forward for you.
Fewer guesses. More precision. Progress you can see and feel.
The price includes 12 personal sessions and the full guidance package of the process. This is TRB's flagship track, so places are limited to preserve availability, quality and a high level of personal investment in each trainee.
